  • Pietersen returns to form

    Kevin Pietersen made his first hundred in any format for 18 months as Surrey tied with Sussex in the Clydesdale Bank 40. Warwickshire and Essex claimed the two semi-final spots up for grabs.



  • CB40 semi-finals confirmed

    The Clydesdale Bank 40 semi-final draw has been made. Somerset host Essex at Taunton, while Warwickshire go to Scarborough to play Yorkshire.



  • Warwickshire book last-four slot

    Warwickshire secured a place in the semi-finals of the Clydesdale Bank 40 after Imran Tahir inspired them to a seven-wicket win over Nottinghamshire.



  • Cook rises to the occasion

    An unbeaten century from Alastair Cook made sure Essex qualified for the Clydesdale Bank 40 semi-finals with a comfortable seven-wicket victory over the Group B winners at Headingley Carnegie.



  • Franklin shines in forlorn cause

    James Franklin and Chris Taylor both hit centuries as Gloucestershire emphatically saw off Northamptonshire, but it was not enough to earn them a last-four spot in the Clydesdale Bank 40.
